Advertising Gets All Post-Modern
Cross-promotion between two related products is nothing new and is often a decent way to hock two things for the price of one. But this new trailer for Fox's Jumper (which involves a teleporting Hayden "Teenage Angst" Christensen) goes above and beyond cross-promotion and enters a weird meta-space of advertising.
Out of nowhere and without shame, in the middle of an otherwise average, melodramatic movie trailer, does a Serena Williams/HP/Windows commercial steal the screen for more than a few seconds. Dumbfounding YT clip below.
