So over the course of the past few years, a number of friends have come to rely on me for sources of radical new music. In an effort to bring some attention to what I consider the best albums released in aught-eight, this post was born. By all means, feel free to chime in with how off the mark or totally right I am in the comments.

I'm going to have to give the Fleet Foxes record a better go than I previously had; too many respectable people singing its praises to resist...Also, great to see French Kicks get some love. trial of the Century remains a personal favorite!Happy New Year, Mike!
