Twitter protected accounts
There is nothing more disappointing than reading my friends respond to people on twitter, and I go to the person's page who they are replying to in order to get context of what my friend is replying to, only to get served with the big fat:
This person has protected their updates.
You need to send a request before you can start following this person.Total conversation fail. It's like being at a party and having a group conversation, yet one person invited their friend who refuses to do anything but whisper things to that person. That person will then respond out loud to the entire group.
Consider DMing responses to your friends who have protected accounts, or provide context in your reply so that those following you understand what you think is so "AWESOME" or "APPALLING" or whatever.
End rant. Carry on.
